 Excellent replacement CD cases April 8, 2010

After our last overseas move, we found that careless packers had thrown all our CDs together in a box, w/o any padding or wrapping. This resulted in ~30 cracked cases. I was happy that I could buy this pack of 10 to try (vs 100). They worked really well, so I bought 2 more packs to finish the job.
I would say that the quality/thickness of the cases is similar to what you get with new CD's now. Some of the older (cracked) cases that I replaced were definitely thicker, but were also slightly yellowing from age. I was very pleased with the quality of this product. (I'm even considering buying another pack to keep on hand as spares...)
The only caveat I would add is that it can be tricky to remove the tray (in order to put the artwork in the back). I didn't crack any of the trays doing it, though. Once I got the hang of it, it was quite easy (though my thumbnails definitely suffered as a result!) :-)
Wish Amazon carried the same product line with a double jewel case!
Medium sturdyness Cases - work well to store clear stamps March 14, 2010

I bought these to store my clear photo-polymer stamps in instead of leaving them on the flimsy thin pieces of acrylic that they come on. All you need to do is take out the insert that holds the CD and then you have two flat surfaces to which your stamps can adhere to just as well as the acrylic blocks used to stamp them with. Also makes it wonderfully easy to store them with a spine label for easy identification. No more fumbling in a drawer, box or binder. This is wonderful way to get organized and encourage yourself to utilize these stamps more readily. I am in the process of changing over many red rubber wood mounted stamps to the cling because I just love this storage method so much. No more digging through several boxes looking for the right stamp!
Oh and by the way sometimes you can find the cases in clear on both sides (important to see your stamps) without the CD insert. Also DO NOT try the slim line cases as they wont work. The back piece is the CD holder and even if you found one that is not that way they are too skinny to fit stamps on both sides and still close.

This is the second time I buy these. This time they came excellently packed and not
a single one of them came with even the minimum scratch. Wow. They are not flimsy or too fragile as some other brands available. Overall, very pleased. Will order more if I get to need them again.

I use these cases to keep my CD collection looking good. It does.
Minus one star because I wish they had the dark gray inserts like my original CD cases had, so I wouldn't have to look at the white backs of the back labels.

These cases are a thinner grade of plastic then the standard case your CD came in.
